Very detailed top to bottom! A/c, side exhaust.

Show quality top to bottom, this is a nicely detailed car. It has a binder filled with invoices for restoration done in the last few years including a $10,000 service at the shop with their own TV series: Fantom Works.

EXTERIOR: The body looks to be in outstanding condition. I don't see any damage, cracking or problem areas. The panels and pieces all fit exceptionally well. Repainted its original Safari Yellow color and it is polished smooth and glossy, better than when it left the factory. The jambs are painted slick, weather strips were replaced. The convertible top has been upgraded with a rich black canvas material instead of vinyl. All the chrome and trim looks like it's been replaced, the bumpers have show quality chrome. Correct antenna. New factory style side exhaust looks and sounds great. Windshield was replaced. It sits pretty on a set of 15 inch radial redline tires and deluxe wheels.

INTERIOR: It's also really impressive inside. The seats have been recushioned and upholstered. The carpet front to back was replaced. New door panels. All the bits and pieces look great too: vents, dash area, gauges etc. It has a factory radio. Rare telescopic wheel.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has the correct, properly dated and coded 327-300 hp motor. The entire engine compartment looks like it's restored and detailed properly. All the components look fresh and proper. It features factory air conditioning. Vacuum lines and actuators look like they've been replaced. It has the correct AC fuel filter, ignition shielding and fan shroud. It is dressed up with some nice aluminum valve covers.

UNDERSIDE: It was restored and detailed. The front-end steering and the suspension looks brand new. It has independent rear suspension that was also rebuilt including a new spring, shocks, and bushings. It has disc brakes at all four wheels, e-brake is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it's clean Chevy Orange, original style starter. Correct Turbo 400 automatic. It has its original 3.07 posi rear end with the correct dates and codes. The fiberglass floors are clean raw fiberglass, not spray painted over. The spare tire carrier is in great shape. The frame is rock solid, painted a semi-gloss black.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and charged the a/c, tightened the belt, repaired vacuum hose connections for the headlights, replaced the wiper motor.

This Corvette roadster really impressed me. It would cost far more than what we're asking to restore one as good as this. Great looking car!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
