Unrestored survivor! CCAS certified.

Attention Corvette collectors and investors! We have a highly desirable, all original survivor. Driveline, paint, interior, top have never been redone. This is a CCAS/Grenning certified numbers matching 427 Tri-power motor. Previously owned by Corvette experts and collectors. We acquired it from the Georgia Mountain collection. The original tank sticker is still on the gas tank, we have a picture. It has a production date of July 18th, 1969. It was sold new by Rex O'Steen Chevrolet of Greenville. We just spent $6,000 servicing this car making it road worthy.
Great contender for a Bloomington survivor or Benchmark award.

EXTERIOR: Original factory fit and finish, it's a no hit all original panel car. No damage showing, it fits right and the rivets in the front end are NOT showing through the fiberglass. Claimed to still be wearing its original factory paint. The gorgeous Lemans blue presents itself really well but of course has patina. The white convertible top has never been replaced although the rear window is cracked. The optional hardtop must not have been used much, it's in excellent original condition. It still has its original glass, there's a parking sticker on the windshield that expired in 1974. Original weatherstrips, chrome and trim. The back bumpers may be rechromed. Sitting on original 15 inch rally wheels with reproduction tires. We replaced the entire vacuum system for the headlight and wiper doors, now they work better than any other Vette we've had!

INTERIOR: All unabused original bright blue interior. It is optioned with power windows, headrests and AM/FM Radio. The dash area and the console are very clean. The knobs, bezels, gauges look really good. It has 88,184 actual miles. The original radio is still in place. The carpet is original front to back. Door panels are in really good shape. Original seat covers, the driver seat has some amateur repairs. Correct reverse lockout shifter.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Certified Numbers Matching 427ci-400 hp Tri-power engine that it was born with. It's never been out of the car. The components appear to be all original. Original valve covers with the dimples, original ignition shielding and even the original smog system. The 427 decal hasn't ever been replaced! It features power brakes. Interesting fact: the motors were all built at the Tonowanda plant with 4-barrel intake and carb, the Tri-power was installed at the assembly line. The carbs add up to 1,100 cfms!

UNDERSIDE: Other than necessary service this underside is completely original. It's never been spray painted, not even the oil pan. Solid frame. The fiberglass floors have no damage. Spare tire carrier is complete. They all feature 4 wheel disc brakes and independent suspension front and back. Original born with vin # matching Muncie M-21 4-speed. Original born with dated and coded 3.35 posi rear end.

Conclusion: They are original only once! Collectors, especially the Corvette guys really appreciate an original survivor. This is a rare and desirable find.

Service: We inspected the car and spent $6,183 servicing it to make it road worthy. We adjusted the carbs and timing, gave it an oil change, adjusted the reverse rod, replaced the throw out bearing and pilot bushing. We adjusted the reverse light switch. We installed a completely new vacuum kit for headlight and wiper doors. We replaced the speedometer. Repaired the brake lights and a headlight connection. Replaced the heater core, swaybar links, rear strut rods, spring mounts, shocks, and camber bolts. It was given a 4 wheel alignment and a new battery.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
