Super Luxurious Omnidirectional Whatchamajigger

Cat in the Hat

Get ready to be transported into the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss with the spectacular car on display at Volo Museum! This is no ordinary car, but a $1.2 million masterpiece built by Universal Studios for none other than the infamous Dr. Seuss's The Cat in the Hat movie, starring Mike Myers.

But don't let its fame and glory deceive you, this car is truly a work of art. The craftsmanship and quality put into building this car would impress even the fussiest of craftsmen out there! With a top speed of 47 mph, powered by an electric motor, this is the only one of its kind in the entire world.

The builder's own description of the car is just as fantastical as the world of Dr. Seuss itself. The car was designed to be part car, part plane, and part boat, with a sense of wit that fits perfectly with the cat's other fantastical devices. The S.L.O.W., or Super Luxurious Omnidirectional Whatchamajigger, is custom-built from the ground up and features a fiberglass body with a sprayed aluminum finish and African mahogany paneling that resembles a Chris-Craft speedboat from the 1940s.

At 23-feet long, the car gives off a zeppelin-like appearance, piloted blindly by a driver concealed behind the front seat. The driver relies on a camera connected to a monitor next to him to navigate, while an external technician stationed outside of the car communicates with the driver via radio, advising him of objects beyond the camera's field of vision and discussing maneuvers.

But that's not all! In addition to the S.L.O.W., Volo Museum also proudly displays a real, life-like statue of the Cat himself. Built at a cost of $20,000 using the actual cat suit worn by Mike Myers in the movie, this statue looks so real you'll be tempted to reach out and pet it!

Don't miss your chance to step into the fantastical world of Dr. Seuss and see the incredible S.L.O.W. car and the Cat statue for yourself at Volo Museum. It's an experience like no other, and one that's sure to leave you feeling inspired and amazed.
