Custom chassis, a/c, magazine car!

Cover car and 6 page spread in All Chevy Performance 2021. The magazine sure thought highly of this car and rightfully so! It has a pro touring build with all the upgraded performance equipment. It has been restored keeping it's original style with some tasteful updates.

EXTERIOR: They started with a rust free Arizona body. It was made laser beam straight and all the gaps are precise. There's no rust or damage. It has a 2 inch metal cowl hood, spoilers and sport mirrors. It is a Rally Sport which includes the extended nose and split front bumper. Painted Matrix Edge Satin Silver, although satin is not an adjective I would pick, it is high gloss and wet looking. The stripes are smooth to the touch. The chrome and trim were made show quality by Mara polishing and plating. New smoked glass. Weatherstrips and seals were replaced. Tubbed rear wheel wells to accommodate the 19x12 Ashanti rear wheels. They are 18x8 in front and all 4 are wrapped in Nitto performance tires.

INTERIOR: Carlos Custom Upholstery did the interior. I could smell the leather when I opened the door. The sport seats hold you comfortably in place. It has bucket seats in back too. A custom made console was wrapped in the same leather with matching white stitching. The new dash pad fits perfectly. It also has new stock instrument panel and vents. It is upgraded with a matched set of Pro Comp gauges and electric slide heater controls. A nice feeling cushion grip wheel is on a tilt column. There is a Pioneer Bluetooth stereo to listen to your tunes on.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: GM crate LS3 hot cam 376-495 hp motor! High performance with GMs reliability. March LS Pro-Trac drive system in front with polished components and a serpentine belt. Air enters a Spectre cold air intake system and exits through stainless Patriot headers. It features modern heat and air conditioning system from Classic Auto Air. Wilwood power brakes and modern power steering. It runs cool with a Griffin aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. It's a very neat installation. All the metal surfaces are painted nicely. The hood opens effortlessly thanks to the custom billet hinges.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted slick. Inside is pristine metal with a neat spatter finish coating. It also has a carpeted floor mat. Optima red top battery is relocated in the trunk with a billet hold down.

UNDERSIDE: Custom performance chassis! Up front is C5 spindles, Detroit Speed tubular control arms, a fat swaybar and QA1 coilover adjustable gas shocks. Upgraded Saginaw 700 steering box too. Welded and countersunk frame connectors tie the front to the back. Detroit Speed Quadralink rear suspension with performance adjustable shocks and a panhard bar. Upgraded Wilwood brake system with drilled and slotted 13 inch disc at all 4 wheels, 6 piston in front and 4 piston in back. All new lines and e-brake assembly. 2 1/2 inch stainless exhaust with crossover pipe and polished tips exiting through the valance. Upgraded fuel system for the fuel injection, stainless fuel tank. Looking up at the motor it has a Holley oil pan, the GM part # tag is attached to the block and dated 2020. New TKO 600 Tremec 5-speed with a Centerforce hydraulic clutch. Rebuilt drive shaft. In back is a built 10 bolt rear with 28 spline axles, 4.10 posi and aluminum girdle cover. Solid floors, no rust.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and replaced the belt, repaired the a/c, replaced a taillight bulb, repaired the remote mirror and adjusted the parking brake.

The end result is a very attractive car that is just begging to be driven. When I say driven, I mean driven! Shifting those gears through a curvy road, launching at the green light and cruising the highway effortlessly in 6th gear with the a/c on!
