SEMA stage car. Meticulous pro build!

This is a SEMA car featured on the SEMA stage and Car Crazy TV show. It started life as a genuine RS-SS from California in very good condition. It was ground up rebuilt and customized by ProDesign hot rod shop in southern CA. They brought it to SEMA to show off their work. It's over the top nice!

EXTERIOR: The body is absolutely laser beam straight and the fit is like a new Mercedes. It has spoilers and cowl hood. It's a Rally Sport which includes hideaway lights and relocated reverse lights. It was upgraded with Detroit Speed electric headlight door conversion. It was repainted in 2010 and has a few hairline cracks that have developed. The Daytona Yellow paint is polished like glass. The stripes are smooth to the touch. Any chrome or stainless was replaced. Weather strips and window seals were replaced. All new glass. The wheels were replaced in 2018 with polished 17 inch Torque Thrust wheels and performance tires. It has bright LED taillights.

INTERIOR: I love the interior. Everything is wrapped in glove soft leather: the dash pad, deluxe door panels, rear panels, rear shelf, speaker covers and console! It has Recaro seats upholstered in glove soft leather and houndstooth inserts. The rear seat is sculpted and upholstered to match. It has premium square loop Mercedes style carpet and mats. It has factory tachometer and gauges. Everything on the dash is new: vents, knobs, heater controls, instrument panel, even the ashtray and lighter. Bluetooth stereo system with 6 speakers and 100 watt amp. You would use your phone as the music source. The tilt column has a custom wheel. Headliner and visors are new. All new wiring, reproduction seatbelts, handles, pedals etc.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has the performance and reliability of a GM crate motor. It is a ZZ 383-425 HP stroker motor. This features fast burn heads, forged crankshaft, roller lifters. The GM high rise intake was polished smooth and powder coated gloss black; it has a dual feed Holley carb. The cowl induction air cleaner had the snorkels removed and filled, then powder coated. It has coated headers and sharp looking cast aluminum valve covers. All the fittings, hoses, clamps are premium. Billet Specialties True Trac frontrunner system includes billet brackets and pulleys with a serpentine belt, polished mini a/c compressor, polished alternator, and a modern power steering setup. It has power brakes too. Every component looks new and proper. It is detailed to show condition.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are slick as the car. It's all clean metal with a spatter finish. It has a carpet mat. The taillight panels and side panels are upholstered. It has an amp for the stereo.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and every component was removed from under this car and rebuilt. The entire front end suspension and steering looks like new. It has an upgraded swaybar and rack and pinion steering. It also has frame connectors that tie the front and back together. In back the springs, bushings, shocks were replaced and it has an added swaybar. The fuel system was completely replaced including the tank. It has an upgraded brake system with slotted discs at all four wheels. Custom exhaust with Flowmaster type mufflers and crossover pipe. Looking up at the motor it looks spotless, it has a high torque starter and a heavy duty scatter shield. Recently converted to a new 6-speed T56 Tremec trans, McLeod clutch and custom trans support. Custom aluminum drive shaft leads to a 12 bolt rear end with 4.11 posi gears. Aluminum rear end girdle cover. The floors are all solid metal, they were prepped and treated with a chip guard paint.

SERVICE: We inspected the car, and we repaired the headlight switch, lubed the window mechanisms, and replaced a roller.

This is a crazy nice build with attention to detail. It looks and functions incredibly well. Of all the Camaros we sell this has my favorite interior!
