455 miles on frame of restoration!

Only 450 mi on a total body off frame show quality restoration as a Yenko tribute. It has an actual 1969 427 motor.

EXTERIOR: The fit and finish really impresses me. The body is absolutely straight, everything lines up real nice. I don't see any issues, certainly no rust or damage showing. It has spoilers and a cowl hood. Painted Hugger Orange, it has a better than new glass finish. It's decked out with Yenko emblems and decals. All the chrome has been replaced including the correct antenna. All the stainless trim is new as well. The weatherstrips and window seals were replaced. Correct T-3 headlights. It's sitting really tough on some 15 inch polished Torque Thrust wheels, much wider in back and they are wearing BF Goodrich tires.

INTERIOR: It's been completely restored inside. New carpet on the floor. The seats are recushioned, reupholstered and have new headrests. Door panels, armrests, window cranks were all replaced. New headliners, visors, and mirror. The dash pad, instrument bezels, heater control panel, vents all look new. It has a radio delete plate. There is tachometer on the column and a gauge cluster down below. Complete set of original seat belts. It's actually very nice inside.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a real 427 motor, period correct with the desirable 512 casting. Everything looks very fresh. It has a factory aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carb with original style gas line, correct valve covers and upgraded long tube headers. It has reproduction hose clamps, a correct curve neck radiator, new shroud, and fan. Features include power steering and brakes. All the components look fresh: wiper motor, alternator, power steering and power brakes. Reproduction spring clamp battery cables. The metal surfaces are painted really nice. It has hood insulation. The flapper in the cowl induction hood is hooked up.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are as slick as the car. Weatherstrip, trunk latch, rear seat insulation were replaced. Inside is clean metal with a neat spatter finish.

UNDERSIDE: It was body off frame restored. Every component was removed from under this car rebuilt or replaced. It's very fresh looking. The floors are dry clean metal painted a semi-gloss black. All the steering and suspension, front and back is restored. The fuel system was replaced. The brake system was completely rebuilt and it has disc in front. Great sounding fat exhaust with cross over pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. Looking up at the motor it is still spotless Chevy Orange with a high torque starter. It has a Muncie 4-speed trans that looks fresh. New Hurst linkage. Drive shaft was rebuilt. It has a 12 bolt posi rear end.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and repaired the horns and took care of a tailpipe rattle.

CONCLUSION: After my inspection and video I like the car more. The fit, finish and function really impressed me. It appears to have been built with pride!
