GM documented! Real SS, 4-spd, a/c, cowl & gauges.

Undisputable GM documentation. This is a genuine SS 396, 4-speed with factory air, cowl induction and gauges! 2,972 miles since a body off restoration was finished in 2007. Gorgeous color combination!

EXTERIOR: The body is very straight and the gaps line up real well including the cowl induction hood. The doors shut like a new car. It's very solid, smooth all along the bottoms. Repainted it's original Black Cherry which is a rare and gorgeous color. It is smooth and glossy. The stripes are painted on correctly. The white top is in excellent shape. The windshield and rear window was replaced. The chrome shines real nice on the car. Correct 14 inch SS wheels look like new and are wrapped in BFG tires.

INTERIOR: The pearl white is killer against the black cherry paint. It was originally black, I completely agree the pearl is a big improvement. It is in great shape overall. Door panels and upholstery were all replaced. The buckets were recushioned and the plastic trim was replaced. The dash looks like it's been restored. The instrument panel, heater control panel, vents, factory gauges including the tachometer all look great. It has owner's manual in the glovebox. Real nice carpet on the floor, reproduction 4-speed console between the seats. Original Muncie shifter. Original seat belts front and back. The headliner and visors look graat, dome light works.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a correct 396 motor upgraded with an aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carb, MSD ignition and headers. Complete cowl induction system including the electric and vacuum flappers. Power brakes with a cadmium plated booster. Power steering. Factory air conditioning system was rebuilt. Squirters are hooked up, new wiper motor. Correct hoses, clamps and shroud.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and a jamb are painted real nicely. Inside is rock solid with a nice spatter finish paint. The weatherstrip and mat were replaced. It has an SS wheel with a BF Goodrich tire for spare and the correct jack assembly. There's also a stereo mounted in the trunk that's operated from in the car with a remote control. Some trophies and shop manuals are also included.

UNDERSIDE: It has the F-41 suspension which includes boxed rear control arms, front and rear swaybars

SERVICE: We inspected the car and repaired the reverse lights, air conditioning and cowl induction.

CONCLUSION: These options are awesome! Not easy to find a 4-speed with factory air conditioning. If you want to be 100% certain you are getting the real deal, this is the car for you. There are so many fake Super Sports, even with phony documentation. Only the cars built in Canada can be verified by GM. Investment Chevelle you can enjoy.
