Gorgeous colors! Factory a/c, tilt, gauges, console.

Arguably the most popular muscle car is the 70 Chevelle. This is a great example of one. It's beautiful, restored and nicely optioned. It was built in California, I bought in in Alabama. Looking at how clean the metal is I'm going to guess it lived down south it's entire life.

EXTERIOR: No rust or damage, smooth all along the bottoms. It is straight and fits really nice. Beautiful Forest Green metallic. The metal flake is laid out evenly, the clear coat is polished glossy. The stripes are painted on smooth to the touch. All the chrome and stainless trim has been replaced. Very clear glass. Weatherstrips and window seals were replaced. The SS wheels are good, tires look excellent.

INTERIOR: The white interior is amazing against the green. The dash pad, instrument panel, heater control panel and vents look new. The factory Am-Fm radio works. It has the factory gauge cluster including a tachometer. New deluxe wheel on a tilt column. New door panels, armrests, and upholstery. Correct console with the horseshoe shifter. The carpet was replaced. Original complete of seatbelts. Nice headliner and visors. Dome light works, the clock even works!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 1970 396 motor, it sounds healthy. Upgraded with an aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carb and an HEI ignition. Otherwise, it's detailed to factory condition. New correct chrome valve covers and air cleaner. Factory air conditioning system was rebuilt. New heater control valves. It has power steering and brakes with a cadmium plated booster. It's complete: it has hood insulation, squirters are hooked up, correct fan shroud etc. Hoses and wires are run neatly. The metal surfaces are painted smoothly.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted nicely. Inside is clean metal and spatter painted. It has reproduction stickers, weatherstrip and mat. SS wheel for a spare and a complete reproduction jack assembly.

UNDERSIDE: It has the F-41 suspension which includes front and rear sway bars and boxed rear control arms. The front end was rebuilt. The fuel tank and sending unit have been replaced. It has a great sounding dual exhaust with stainless Flowmaster mufflers and correct SS tips. They are disc brakes in front, drum in back. The e-brake assembly is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it is clean, starter is clean, it has a flywheel cover. The Turbo 400 automatic trans is also clean. In back it has its original 12 bolt rear end with 3.31 posi gears. The floors are very clean original rust free metal. I actually think they are exceptionally clean. The chassis is clean, smooth metal too.

SERVICE: We inspected this car and only spent $135 on service! It checked out really well.

CONCLUSION: The colors are unique which make it stand out. Unique is not always good but it is in this case, it's beautiful. Clean southern car with great options in excellent shape!
