Rust free. A/c, ps, pdb, p top, posi.

Fun in the sun... topless! This is a turn key, sharp looking convertible. It has features that make it comfortable and easy to drive.

EXTERIOR: I think the body is exceptional. I believe it's the original rust free metal. Under the doors are clean, the lip around the wheel well has factory pinch welds. It is straight as an arrow, no bubbles or damage. It has a GTO hood with open scoops. Glossy red paint with minimal flaws. The bumpers were rechromed. Weatherstrips were replaced. Original windshield has a stone chip. Restored Rally ll wheels. We just installed new BFG tires, fatter in back. Black convertible power top is in good shape.

INTERIOR: Overall very good unabused condition. Comfortable bench seat with a fold down armrest. The upholstery, door panels and carpet show well. The dash pad is nice, the instrument panel is not cut or broken. It has a retro stereo in the factory hole and a gauge cluster down below to watch the engines vitals. Complete set of seatbelts for 6 people.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 400 motor was freshened up with a timing chain, oil pump, hotter cam, some performance work on the heads and a 600 Edelbrock carb. New polished Power Master alternator. New chrome master cylinder and power booster. High end billet hood hinges. Chrome cowl vents. The a/c has a polished compressor and lines. It also features power steering. Overall clean and orderly.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb is glossy red. Inside is clean metal with a spatter finish. Weatherstrip was replaced. It has a rally ll wheel and a new tire for a spare. A new well liner is included. It also comes with some shop manuals.

UNDERSIDE: The front end was gone through- balljoints look fresh, we replaced the pitman arm and center link. Gas shocks at all 4 corners. We replaced the fuel tank and sending unit. Great sounding dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Disc brake upgrade in front, e-brake assembly is hooked up. Bottom of the motor is clean, high torque starter. #s matching Powerglide automatic. The 10 bolt was given a 3.03 posi unit. The floors look real solid, they are painted black.

SERVICE: Our shop inspected and spent $2,735 servicing it. New BFG tires mounted and balanced, replaced rubber door bumpers, new battery, replaced pitman arm and center link, repaired a/c, new fuel tank and sending unit, fixed wipers, new oil pressure gauge, shimmed pulleys, tightened valve covers. Plus, there is a file of receipts from previous owner.

You want a muscle car convertible to actually drive and enjoy? This is it. Nice enough to go to any show, not too nice that you can't take it to work. Great package at a great price!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
