Exceptionally clean, unmolested sports car!

The TR-3 was and is a very popular British sports car. It won numerous races, hill climbs and rallies across Europe and North America. Here is your chance to experience a true British sports car, shiffting gears and listening to that distinct european note out the tail pipe. It is a true roadster having a fold down top and side curtains. No windows meant they could keep the doors cut low so you can rest your arm. This one is exceptionally well restored and proper.

EXTERIOR: Fabulous body and paint. The fit and the finish is excellent. British Racing Green paint is polished glossy . I love how the front fender flows into the doors and the swooping rear fenders. Also how chrome winshield is slanted and fitted with wing windows. Chrome looks new. Bumpers, hinges, emblems are mint. The optional knock off wire wheels really dress the car up. The black convertible top and side windows are in great shape and actually fit very well.

INTERIOR: Very unabused and excellent condition. The dash area has no aftermarket gauges, switches or stereo. It is proper as it was born. Original Smith instrumentation including tachometer still looks exceptionally nice. The textured surfaces are not even worn. The knobs and steering wheel are mint. Reupholstered in genuine leather with white piping. Has optional "occasional" seat in back for 3rd passenger. Has seat belts, floormats and walnut shift knob too.

MOTOR COMPARTMENT: A high spirited 4 cylinder with dual carbs gives this little car plenty of spunk to have some fun with.

UNDERSIDE: Appears to have it's original metal in excellent condition. Chassis and rear end are clean metal painted black. Frame is very substantial in my opinion for such a little car. The transmission and bottom of the motor still look new. It is the first European production car to have disc brakes, that didn't catch on in America until late 60s.

Overall I am very impressed with how unmolested and proper this car is. It sounds like a lot of fun. I think I need to take an afternoon off and go for a ride in the countryside to experience that British sports car feeling!
