Arguably John Delorean's greatest contribution to Pontiac was the complete redesign of the Grand Prix. With GTO'S stealing all the sales, the Grand Prix needed a new image and it got one! It took styling cues from the Duesenburg SJ with it's long hood, short trunk and prominent center chrome grill. The interior lives up to it's luxury muscle car image with it's aircraft style cockpit. This car has been ground up restored less them 1,000 miles ago, including rebuilt motor, trans, front end gone through. Replaced shocks, springs, stater, fuel tank and lines, radiator, hoses, belts etc. Has Flowmaster exhaust. Body was stripped and painted urethane basecoat, clearcut and wet sanded to a smooth finish. New vinyl top, weatherstrips, show chrome on bumpers. Restored wheels with BFG tires. Interior restored with new carpet, headliner, seat cushions and upholstery. Upgraded CD stereo. Clean trunk and engine compartments. This car was special ordered. We have the hand written order form from the original dealer, window sticker and much more. Rare and desirable muscle car with a great story.
