The Cadillac for 1912 was the first production automobile with electric start.  This was huge, because in 1912, if you wanted the big horse power you had to hand crank.  This big 4 forty horse and L head engine has a bore and stroke 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 with 286.3 cu in tire size 36 x 4 whitewalls.  1912 first Cadillac with electric lights and nickel brite work.  New car cost was $1800.00 a small fortune in 1912.  This car was all complete survivor found in a building in Spring Brook, North Dakota.  The car is an older complete professional frame off restoration, by Loren Burch of Northern California, with excellent paint, nickel and leather interior, complete with side curtains and boot.  The engine was rebuilt by John Sanders of Rockford with less then 100 miles.  The car has 12 volt starter with turn signals and brake light upgrade.  Very powerful and dependable driver you'd be proud to own, runs and drives excellent.  Youtube video available upon request.  Call our classic car division at 815-385-8408 for video and/or vehicle information.
