The Radio Flyer wagon has been an American icon for over 100 years now. This has been our "go to" vehicle for TV shows, parades and events. It always draws a crowd of smiling faces! Yes, it is drivable; we've had it on the road several times. It has been very reliable, it always starts and runs great, it doesn't overheat. It is smooth and easy to operate.EXTERIOR: The all steel body is shaped like a wagon. Painted gloss red with a large Radio Flyer decal on each side. It even has a giant pull handle and white steel rims. It has headlights and taillights with turn signals. The boards on top are composite.
INTERIOR: Solid metal with seating for 10+ people. It's all painted black. The driver uses a stock Ford steering wheel, ignition, shifter and gauges. Upfront is a metal lid that opens for easy access to the engine.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is a stock 4.0 liter with electronic fuel injection. Brackets, wiring, hoses, radiator, air box are all stock. It also features stock power steering and brakes.
UNDERSIDE: You would think you were looking up at a stock 93 Ford, it completely stock. Clean, rust-free metal with a full frame. Up front is independent suspension with rack and pinion steering. The components look to be good; we replaced the shocks. In back it has leaf springs and staggered shocks. Disc brakes in front, drum in back. Exhaust is excellent with a Flowmaster muffler. Original composite fuel tank. The motor and trans look very clean.
SERVICE: We inspected it and replaced the front shocks.
Reliable people pleaser! Just imagine the marketing potential for just about any business! It offers nostalgia, it can be filled with whatever it is you're selling, it holds people, and it functions. Our marketing director is not happy we are selling it. We've used it several times, it's just time to move on. It's your turn.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
