FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How long does it take to tour the museum?
A: There is so much to see and do at The Volo Auto Museum, there really is no set amount of time spent that will suit every visitor. We suggest planning the whole day if you are interested in a “deep dive” into all of our exhibits. However, you do not need much time at all to be inspired by our brand of history — a couple of well-placed hours are all it takes for a great visit. (If you are visiting the Antique Malls be sure to build in at least 2 hours to explore them)(Give yourself 45 minutes to eat and watch the animatronic show)
Q: Is the museum indoors?
A: Yes. There are a total of 12 heated / air conditioned buildings that sprawl out over 2 city blocks that contain all of our exhibits. There are short walks between buildings. We have several groomed outdoor park areas that are open for relaxation and play during favorable weather.
Q: What does it cost to visit the museum?
A: The museum admission is only $15.00 for adults, $13.00 for seniors and $9.00 for children 5 - 12. Military free in uniform or $13.00 out of uniform, with ID. Admission includes access to all areas of the museum, we do not up-charge. Parking is free.
Q: Is everything shown on your website displayed at the museum?
A: Yes, all the items on our website are on display at the museum. However some items may be temporarily off display for repairs or maintenance. If there is something specific you wish to see, we suggested calling first to confirm its status.
Q: Is the museum handicap accessible?
A: The majority of the Museum is wheelchair-accessible, however due to the historic nature of the property and some of our exhibits, there are a few areas that could be either challenging or inaccessible. We do have handicap restrooms located throughout but not all of the restrooms are handicap. Wheelchairs are available for rent for $10.
