1966 Vespa Sprint
Did you know humans conquered air before snow? That's right! We were able to put a vehicle in the air before we could put one through the snow. The first patent on a snow-vehicle, as we know today with a rear track and front skis format, wasn't until 1916. The same design used on Ford's Model T's known as the Snowflyers. It wasn't until 1960 that Bombardier invented the smaller, lighter open cockpit that we know as the modern snowmobile. During the 1970's there were over 100 manufacturers of snowmobiles and today the market is shared by only 4. Our collection displays a span of different makes and models, from an early Snowflyer to a record setting rocket powered 1970's Ski Doo.Snow-planes to ice sleds, over 25 of the most unique designs ever made.
