Rare 1969 Sno Ghia Made by Iso Rivolta for DeTomaso
The name Ghia may seem familiar to many car people and yes, the Ghia snowmobile is the same Italian designer responsible for the numerous Italian designed automobiles. The Sno Ghia snowmobile was manufactured from 1967 through 1970 in Turin, Italy by Iso Rivolta for Ghia Spa, a subsidiary of DeTomaso. The Sno Ghia was touted as the “low-profile” snowmobile offering the advantages of better vision and a low center of gravity for better tracking. They were imported to the US for the 1969 model year only. They were powered by a 297cc Sachs engine. This 1 year only vintage snowmobile is extremely rare and is in "like new" condition. Perfect for another museum or collection. We're only selling it to make room for additional displays.
