Director’s nuptials will make July 22

especially sweet date for visiting museum

   

VOLO — Wedding bells are ringing Saturday, July 22, for Volo Auto Museum Director Brian Grams and his bride, Lesa DeAngelis, and they’re out to share their joy with all who visit the museum that day. 

 

“We’ll be giving out free cake from noon to 3 in celebration of our big day and in conjunction with our Jewel-Osco Classic Cakes and Cars giveaway promotion,” said Grams, director of the museum at 27582 Volo Village Road. 

 

“Everyone who visits can learn how to enter the drawing for a gorgeous red 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport, which will be on view,” he continued. “The drawing is planned for Aug. 22.”

 

As July 22 will be an especially romantic occasion for Grams, the museum also will host a drawing for a romantic, overnight getaway for two at the Ramada Hotel and Day Spa in Galena. Every adult age 18 and older who visits the museum July 22 will be eligible for one free drawing entry.

 

“Lesa and I visited Galena recently and fell in love with the place,” Grams said. “We’re excited for another lucky couple to have the opportunity to experience it, and the odds of winning will be very good as this is a one-day-only event.”

 

While the Gramses’ nuptials will be off-site, this is a way for museum visitors to share in the fun.

 

“I’m really fortunate to have such a tremendous partner in Lesa, and happy to share our celebration with our museum fan family in this way,” Grams said. 

 

The Volo Auto Museum features roughly 400 classic, muscle, Hollywood cars and more. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
