A display of antique boats and equipment is just one of many additions made during a multi-year renovation at the Volo Auto Museum. Eager to show off their upgrades, their added 10,000-square-foot showroom and multiple new exhibits, museum officials are offering a Black Friday-only deal for half-off admission tickets good through December 2016.

Officials of the Volo Auto Museum are eager to show off the attraction’s five-year facelift, and that spells huge savings for Black Friday shoppers.

For one day only — on Friday, Nov. 27 — admission tickets valid through December 2016 will be sold at half price, with no limit on the number purchased, said Brian Grams, director of the museum at 27582 Volo Village Road, Volo.

“This is something we have never done before,” Grams said. “Visiting the museum is a great way to spend time with the family. Those taking advantage of our offer can use them any time from now through the end of 2016, or give them away as gifts.”

Grams said that during the last five years, crews have installed an elegant hall featuring a multi-million-dollar Duesenberg collection, a new 10,000-square-foot showroom packed with children’s exhibits, plus numerous new displays. In addition to the museum’s trademark classic, muscle and Hollywood cars, visitors will find everything from antique nautical equipment to vintage tractors and, new this December, an early to modern-day snowmobile exhibit.

“We’re offering our best deal ever because we want to show off all of the changes we have been making,” Grams said. “Those who haven’t been here in awhile will be amazed and, of course, those who’ve never been here are in for an eye-opening experience.”
