Meticulous! A/c, ps, pdb.

Only 840 miles on a meticulous restoration! Really, this one is exceptional. It will turn heads and win trophies, but the real pleasure will be driving it. It has the features that will make it very comfortable: air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes and more. It is a knockout!

EXTERIOR: Wow, what a looker! The fastback design is stunning and this one is really over the top with these colors and wheels. A very shiny mirror bright red exterior with white racing stripes make this fastback pop. All the panels are laser straight with nice tight gaps. The doors shut like a new car. The glass is all clear with a few very minor scratches. All the chrome and trim sparkles. I love the modern version of the GT rims. They are 17 inch billet with red center caps and are wrapped in performance tires.

INTERIOR: It is meticulous! Everything looks brand new, everything fits right, not even a wrinkle. Expertly installed red carpet front to back and reproduction pony mats on the floor. Overhead is a new bright white headliner and visors. The dash area, center console, gauge cluster, deluxe steering wheel and a/c unit sparkle. The bucket seats have been meticulously restored with new cushions and upholstery, they are comfortable, firm and no wrinkles. Door panels, armrests, handles were replaced. It has a retro stereo in the factory hole. This one is exceptional!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine compartment is proof of the quality and details. Not only does it look brand new but it also has some very desirable ingredients. Completely rebuilt 289 is original in appearance sporting the gold colored air cleaner and valve covers. Even the heat riser tube is in place. Although it looks stock it was upgraded with a little hotter cam, a Sniper fuel injection system and a Hyper Spark ignition system. It also has a modern heat and air conditioning system. Upgraded Borgeson power steering and upgraded power brakes with a dual master cylinder. All the wires, hoses and fittings are neatly routed. Ll the components look fresh. The washer bag is hooked up to the squirters. The metal surfaces are painted smoothly.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The inside of the trunk compartment has been painted very nicely. The underside of the trunk lid is nice and shiny with a new weatherstrip. The fuel filler tube has been replaced and attached with proper fittings. The trunk pan sports a new factory style speckled vinyl mat. A nice car cover is included. Completely finished to better than factory specs.

UNDERSIDE: Appears to be totally restored with several upgrades. All the steering and suspension components including bushings, tie rod ends, hardware and even grease fillers have been replaced. The rear suspension was rebuilt too, upgraded KYB gas shocks and an added sway bar. The leaf springs appear new. Rebuilt brakes have been upgraded in the front with disc brakes that have drilled and slotted rotors. A full dual exhaust including crossover pipe has been installed and looks great. It has original GT style exhaust tips and has been routed correctly through the lower rear valance. The gas tank, fuel pump, and gas lines all have been replaced during restoration. Looking up at the motor everything up here is fresh and clean. The C-4 automatic transmission appears to be completely rebuilt and is nearly spotless. The drive shaft has been painted black and the u-joints have been replaced. The floors are solid, rust free and have been neatly painted black. No disappointments on the underside.

SERVICE: This car has been lovingly restored and cared for. It went through our shop with only minor repairs. We repaired a couple vacuum leaks, installed a new fuel filter, and replaced the speedometer gear. It was really in fantastic shape when we purchased it.
