Real W code SS 454! A/c, cowl induction

Genuine W code SS 454! Only an estimated 1,100 SS 454 4-speeds were made and this one even has factory air conditioning! Same owner the last 18 years, we just acquired as part of a 4 car collection.

EXTERIOR: This is a great looking Chevelle with awesome colors and stance. Clean, straight body that fits right. It has cowl induction hood with the flapper door and a set of sport mirrors. The paint is laid out evenly and has a glossy finish. Properly painted on white SS stripes. The glass is tinted, windshield looks new. The chrome and trim, front and back, look great. Weatherstrips were replaced. Sitting on BFG tires and correct SS wheels.

INTERIOR: It has nice features inside too including factory gauges, bucket seats and a center console. The bucket seats were recushioned and reupholstered. Headrests and rear seat were reupholstered. Door panels, carpet and headliner look like they've been replaced. It has a complete set of original seat belts. Upgraded stereo with kick panel and 6x9 speakers.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 454 was rebuilt to LS-6 specs making over 450 hp! It was blueprinted and balanced. 4 bolt main block, GM LS-6 heads, intake, and exhaust manifolds. It has a high flow Erson cam, roller rockers and electronic ignition. It has an aftermarket vacuum reservoir because of the hot cam. Air is fed through the cowl induction system complete with accuaters. Factory air conditioning system was rebuilt and updated with Classic Auto Air components. Aluminum water pump and radiator keeps it running cool. Alternator and wiper motor look new, squirters are hooked up. It also features power steering and brakes.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid is painted glossy, the jamb is a little dry. The weather strip was replaced. Complete rally wheel spare, lug wrench and jack assembly. It's rock-solid inside, has a mat.

UNDERSIDE: Appears to have solid original metal. It does have the F-41 suspension which includes front and rear sway bars, boxed rear control arms. The steering and suspension components look good. Upgraded coil over shocks in the back. Great sounding dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and the correct SS tips. Fuel tank was replaced. The brakes were redone; it has disc in front and drum in back. E-brake is hooked up. Bottom of the motor is clean. It has a Muncie 4-speed trans and a 12 bolt posi rear.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and replaced the headlights, recalibrated the speedometer, fixed the horn, charged the a/c, fixed the amp gauge, straightened the steering wheel, adjusted the brake light switch and replaced passenger window tint.

This is the complete package. Extremely rare factory 454, 4-speed with air in the best colors! Looks sharp and the sound... listen to that sound!
