Incredibly detailed to factory specs!

Immaculate! It looks like it was just finished 10 minutes ago. Only 6 miles on a concourse, body off frame restoration. Redone to factory specs, more specifically it is detailed to the Kansas City assembly plant specifications.

EXTERIOR: This is where it may not be correct because I think the fit and finish is better than it would have been at the factory. It is absolutely straight, the panels fit right. It features a very desirable cowl induction hood with a working flapper door. Repainted it's Cortez Silver with the doors and trunk lid on, just as it would have been done on the assembly line. It's laid out evenly with a smooth and glossy finish. The stripes are painted correctly. Every single piece of chrome and trim looks new. The bumpers are rechromed originals. The SS wheels look pristine with correct Firestone Wide Oval reproduction tires.

INTERIOR: It is pristine from carpet to headliner. In front of you is a completely restored dash featuring factory gauges including a tachometer and clock. It also has an 8-track stereo and there's a deluxe wheel mounted to the tilt column. All the upholstery, door panels, headliner, carpet have been replaced. It has reproduction mats. The seat is on an extended track for more room. It has correct seat belts. Interior lights work.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is a highly detailed, very fresh engine compartment. The 454 motor was built to LS6 specs including properly dated rectangular port heads and matched low rise GM aluminum intake. It has a functional cowl induction system. Correct solenoid and transmission timing control solenoid are in the correct Kansas locations. Correct four core radiator, GM hoses and clamps, the right shroud, cap, clutch fan etc. It features power steering and power brakes with a cadmium plated booster. Delco reproduction battery. The squirters are hooked up.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is completely restored as it would have looked new. Under the trunk lid and the jamb are glossy silver. Inside is clean metal with a neat spatter finish. The weather strip, decals and trunk mat have been replaced. It has a 5th matching SS wheel with a reproduction tire and a restored jack assembly.

UNDERSIDE: It is immaculate under this car! It looks like it was finished 10 minutes ago. The body was lifted off the frame and every item was taken. The floors are pristine metal correctly painted in rosette primer then the correct shade of black with small amounts of primer showing through in spots just as they did at the factory. It has the F-41 suspension which includes boxed rear control arms, front and rear sway bars. The suspension and steering are entirely rebuilt and it is detailed with the proper tags and markings. The fuel system was completely replaced and it even has the correct ARMCO ink stamp on the tank. It has the proper reproduction exhaust system with mufflers and resonators. Original SS tips, not reproduction. The brake system was completely rebuilt, disc in front. Looking up at the motor it is spotless, has the correct starter. It's a correct Turbo 400 automatic that's been restored. The drive shaft is rebuilt and detailed. The 12 bolt rear has 3.31 posi and is rebuilt and detailed.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and just made some adjustments to the carb and the timing. We made simple repairs to the turn signals, wipers, seat track and brake light.

This is about as nice as you will find anywhere. It's ready to go in somebody's living room. Aside from the incredible condition, it is arguably the most desirable muscle car there is: a 70 Chevelle SS 454!
