Upgraded suspension & brakes. 1 owner 37 years!

I just acquired this from the guy I sold it to in 1985! and owned the last 37 years! This is a real GTO and he had it restored with upgrades. It has a custom color, paint job, modern Rally lls, wheels, custom suspension and brakes an overdrive automatic and more!

EXTERIOR: It has a look with the rich dark paint, hideaway lights and sitting on 18 inch Rally ll wheels. The body is laser straight and the gaps are on point. The rubber bumper is in excellent shape, the hideaway lights open properly. It's been repainted in a custom dark green metallic, the metallic flake is incredible! It is polished smooth and glossy. The rich tan power convertible top is new. It's sitting on custom US Mags machined wheels wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact tires, extra wide in back. The windshield is crystal clear, and the chrome trim looks really good.

INTERIOR: The interior is restored like original with some nice upgrades. A cool factory feature is the Hurst dual gate shifter. He added a modern set of Dakota Digital gauges and a walnut steering wheel. Overall good, unabused condition. Looks like the stereo system that was in it in 1985 when I sold it!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Show quality engine bay. The 400 engine was rebuilt at Precision Performance and is making close to 400 hp. It was hopped up with a cam was added, Edelbrock intake, dual feed Holley carb, HEI ignition and Hedman headers. intake, new carb. Fitted with Hedman Headers. It has power Wilwood brakes and power steering. An aluminum radiator keeps it cool. Many new parts: Champion aluminum radiator, Powermaster alternator, wiper motor and more.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jambs are painted smooth and glossy. The weather stripping is new. The trunk is solid rust free and finished in correct spatter paint. It has a trunk mat, and original Rally style spare wheel with a new BFGoodrich radial tire.

UNDERSIDE: The undercarriage has impressive upgrades. The steering and suspension are completely rebuilt. It features QA1 front tubular control arms, boxed rear control arms. QA1 HD front and rear swaybars. QA1 adjustable coil over shocks at all 4 corners. Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brakes at all 4 wheels with red calipers. The exhaust has x-pipe and stainless tailpipes. The gas tank was replaced. Looking up at the motor it still looks fresh. Upgraded with a 700R-4 overdrive automatic trans. A new driveshaft leads back to a 12 bolt rear with 3.90 posi gears and a finned aluminum cover.

SERVICE: Our on-site shop inspection concluded with a new aluminum radiator and coolant, replaced the reverse light switch, adjusted the driver seat to function properly, and a new speedometer gear and housing for correct MPH.

This is the ultimate muscle car that has hot rod power and ride quality, but you can also cruise it. It's the best of both worlds. Arguably the best style GTO with the hideaway headlights, and the color combination with stance and wheels give it a unique slick appearance.
