The ZR-1 was the Super Car in its day. The ZR-1 option about doubled the cost of the car! The all new ZR1 featured. The highest horsepower 5.7 dual fuel port injected V8 with different performance and handling modes. This one owner car is in collector grade condition with only 22,600 miles. It has its original COMPLETE vin matching "pizza box" with the promotional items. You will be hard pressed to find one in this condition.

EXTERIOR: The body was wider on a ZR1 to accommodate wider tires. The roof panels are not interchangeable with regular Vettes! Gorgeous Dark Red Metallic paint that sparkles in the sunlight. The paint is excellent. This ZR1 was optioned with dual roofs, you have the original paint matched roof, and the Solar Glass roof both excellent. Pop up headlights are motorized, and hideaway for a sleeker front end nose. The wheels are gorgeous original polished aluminum Saw blades.

INTERIOR: Original excellent condition black leather interior. The sport bucket seats are 6 way power and fully functional! These ZR1s were out of this world! Full digital dash and instrumentation. It has the premium stereo with cassette and cd, but the speaker amps need replacing. The selective ride & handling that's changed with a dial right by the 6 speed shifter! Under the stereo is a key to change the performance of the car! You can cruise it around in normal mode or switch it to full to unleash everything it has.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood you'll find the incredible Lotus developed LT5 5.7L V8. It produced 380HP. ZR-1 was incredibly quick for its time, hitting 0-60 mph in just 4.4 seconds and the quarter-mile in just 12.7 seconds, on to a top speed of over 180 mph. It was so quick that it set seven international and world records at a test track in Fort Stockton, Texas. Look at the condition of this engine bay; it's been preserved so well it looks just as good as it did new! All the independent front suspension is exposed and an intricate setup.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The rear hatch is electronic pop; it holds the original collector's pizza box that has the original window sticker, vin matched binder, ZR1 videos, owner's manual, and literature. There are also locks that hold the secondary roof in place, so it does not get damaged!

UNDERSIDE: Underneath is excellent! All the aluminum suspension looks like it did new. The power disc brakes look really clean. The ZR1 has an adjustable handling package which features Bilstein Delco damping shocks. The original dual exhaust is in fantastic shape. The rear suspension is 5 link and paired with an electronic limited slip rear end. The transmission looks dry and is the 6 speed manual.

To come across an original owner, original ZR1 in this shape is not often. We were impressed with the condition and how well this iconic piece of history was preserved. The ultimate 90's car that was an instant collectible. Important car in Corvette's history.
