#s match motor & trans! Rebuilt mechanics, solid car.

This is a real Rallye with a performance built #s matching 340 and a #s matching 4-speed with a pistol grip! Rebuilt mechanics, solid body, sharp looker! A thick binder of restoration documentation is included.

EXTERIOR: The body appears to be in great shape. It's actually straight and fits really well, doors shut like new. I don't see any rust or damage. The Rallye comes with the power bulge hood, fender vents and a blacked out grill and tail panel. The exterior was repainted a yellow metallic and clear coated. It shows very well, a wet sand would really make it sharp. They did not repaint the jambs which are clean but a different shade of yellow. The windshield and back window look like they're new. The bumpers were replaced but have mild wear. The stainless trim and door handles are excellent. The weatherstrips and window seals were replaced. Tough looking 15 inch polished Weld wheels with Cooper Cobra tires, wider in back.

INTERIOR: It's actually very nice inside. It has upgraded Procar sports seats. The rear seat is reupholstered. The side plastic panels are in mint condition. The headliner has been replaced, visors and mirror are mint. Dome light works. It has retractable 3 point seatbelts in front. Nice fitting dash cap. Upgraded instrument panel with Sport Comp gauges. It's also upgraded with a Kenwood stereo with 6x9 speakers. It also has an upgraded cushion grip wheel; the original is included too. The console is in excellent shape. The best part about it is that pistol grip shifter sticking out of it!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Vin # matching 340! It was given a performance rebuild. It has an Isky cam, Edelbrock intake and carb, coated Doug's headers and an MSD ignition system. All the components look clean. New Mopar aluminum valve covers. It runs cool with an aluminum radiator and aluminum water pump. Upgraded Borgeson power steering. It also has power brakes. The engine bay is very clean metal painted yellow with stainless steel bolts.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is solid. It's lined with Dynamat soundproofing. It has a reproduction mat. It has a working trunk light. The battery is relocated to the trunk. It also has an upgraded power trunk release.

UNDERSIDE: The front end is completely rebuilt. Upgraded QA1 control arms and QA-1 gas shocks. Front and rear swaybars. In back it has new leaf springs and shackles. Upgraded QA1 gas shocks. Rebuilt brakes, disc in front. Fuel tank was replaced. Great sounding dual exhaust with the correct square tips. Bottom of the motor is clean; it has a high torque starter. Vin # matching 4-speed, new McLeod clutch. New Helical 3.73 Sure Grip gears. The floors are solid. It has welded in frame connectors to help prevent body twist.

Service: We inspected this car and adjusted the carb, fixed reverse light, replaced wiper motor, adjusted the wiper arms, fixed turn signals, and replaced door lock cylinders.

This is a rare and desirable car. The fact that it is #s matching and a 4-speed really sets it apart from the others. Overall, I think it's a very good car. A wet sand and repainting the jambs would jump it up to another level.
