Hi Perf dual carbs, headers. A/c, 12 volt!
This is a sharp looking truck! It has some surprising upgrades that make it a pleasure to drive- a/c, 12 volt system and engine performance upgrades. Our mechanic said it's quick!EXTERIOR: It is a really sharp looking truck. It's all metal body and fenders. Overall, I think it's very straight, I didn't see any rust or damage. The paint shines beautifully and has a lot of depth. If you look closer there are a number of imperfections. It has been hand pinstriped. It has the deluxe chrome grill, bumpers, and window moldings. It also has step plates on each running board. Stained wood stake sides look sharp. New 15 inch powder coated rims with chrome caps and rings. They are wearing Coker Classic wide whitewalls. New headlights and chrome visors.
INTERIOR: Leather power bucket seats with a console. Custom upholstered door panels. New vintage style gauges and a Hot rod style tachometer on the column. Reproduction steering wheel. Kenwood stereo and speakers. The dash is pinstriped. The heat and a/c system is installed neatly under the dash. Working interior light. Correct rubber mat on the floor.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Straight 6 cylinder with some upgrades. New Clifford aluminum intake, dual Weber carbs and Clifford exhaust header. Dressed up with aluminum valve and side covers. Updated Vintage Air heat and a/c system. It runs cool with a new aluminum radiator. 12 volt upgrade includes a chrome 1 wire alternator, modern fuse block and electric wipers. New bull horn too!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the box is straight, clean metal painted glossy. The floor has solid wooden floors. It's a little worn which makes it usable!
UNDERSIDE: Steering stabilizer, pitman arm and front shocks were replaced. Welded dual stainless exhaust system. New e-brake cables, brake shoes were replaced in back. Axle seal and rear end cover gasket was replaced. Overall, it looks solid and proper.
$12,000 was spent on this truck in the last 2 years. This truck will get plenty of looks and compliments. Driving it will be a whole lot easier with the upgrades this one has. Turn signals! Imagine driving using hand signals because that's how they were.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
