Frame off restored, real Z-28, 4 wheel disc. Exceptional!

Frame off restored, real Z-28. Just acquired from a millionaire's car collection. He has owned it the last 7 years. This one is exceptional. 74,000 miles is marked original on the title.

EXTERIOR: Factory color- code 13 is Nevada silver. The body looks to be in excellent shape, remember this was painted at least 7 years ago it looks like it came out of the booth yesterday. The panels all fit square and flush, it's smooth and straight everywhere. I don't see any signs of damage, rust, bubbles or cracking. The metal flake is laid out evenly, the clear coat is polished to a smooth high gloss finish. The painted on stripes are smooth to the touch. Features include front and rear spoilers, a 3" metal cowl hood and a vinyl top that is in excellent shape. Up front the lenses, grille, emblems, bumper and headlight bezels look brand new. The windshield is new, moldings around the windows are real nice. In back the bumper, taillights and emblem look new. Door jambs are painted real slick. Weather strips, window seals and sill plates were replaced. Original 15" wheels look like brand new, they have a set of BFG tires.

INTERIOR: As I sit in the car the 1st thing I thought is how comfortable the seats are. As I'm looking around I am very impressed with it's condition. Down on the floor it has new carpet and carpeted mats. The original console is in real good shape and has a Hurst shifter sticking out of it. Not only do the seats have new upholstery but the cushions feel nice and firm too. The door panels, plastic trim, headliner and visors are real nice. New rear view mirror. All the original seat belts are here including the shoulder belts. The new dash pad fits real nice. The instrument bezel has been replaced. It has it's original set of gauges including an 8-grand tachometer. The dash is not cut up, it has it's original am radio. Original steering wheel, heater controls look nice, vents are a little yellowed.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: That is a fresh 383 stroker motor sitting there with a set of aluminium heads and intake, Quick Fuel carb with premium fuel line and fittings. It also has a complete MSD Ignition system and ceramic coated headers. It's dressed up with some nice Chevrolet chrome valve covers, air cleaner and alternator. The timing chain cover and pulleys are aluminium. The clutch fan and shroud look new, it's upgraded with an aluminium radiator. The power brake booster, master and lines look new. The entire compartment is very neat and tidy. All of the finishes are nice and smooth. It has a cool set of billet fender brackets. Has new hinges and hood insulation.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Real clean, dry metal. I looked up in the quarters, I don't see any splices. It is neatly spatter painted. New rubber mat and weatherstrip. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are as glossy as the car.

UNDERSIDE: It has been body off the frame restored, underneath this car is completely redone. The subframe was removed, the entire front end was taken apart and completely rebuilt. It has new ball joints, bushings, shocks, springs, steering controls, etc. Frame connectors unite the front and rear, this prevents body twist. In back it's all new looking- springs, bushings and shocks. The brake system was completely replaced and upgraded with disc at all 4 wheels. E-brake assembly, lines, hoses were replaced. Real nice exhaust system with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. The fuel system was replaced- tank, straps, sending unit and lines. Looking up at the motor it looks new, it has a high torque starter. The Muncie 4-speed is a correct 1970. It looks new including it's linkage. The drive shaft and u-joints look new. It has a 10 bolt rear with 3.31 posi gears. The metal under this car is clean. It was prepped and neatly painted satin black.

Why does it have to be snowing right now! I would absolutely love to drive this one. That motor sounds sweet. It has that perfect lopey idle and instant response. This is one of the exceptional ones.
