In the early days of Ford, Henry built many styles of utility trucks. Two that were closely related was the Huckster and Depot Hack. The Huckster was designed to carry product that needed protection from the elements. Thus the Huckster; wood sides and black vinyl top and some with roll down curtains featuring more protection. In many cases, Ford would provide the chassis and fenders, and a coach builder would build the wood body - kind of the fore runner to the Suburban. This one was restored 15 years ago and was used for display at a California Vineyard. The fenders are all steel; clad in black - the Huckster body show patina and some signs of ware. Mechanics are good; she runs and drives like a Model A should. A great advertising piece, parade vehicle or just for hauling around the farm. Youtube video available upon request.
