This Chevrolet Paddy Wagon was fabricated for use as a period movie production car.

This Chevrolet Paddy Wagon was fabricated for use as a period movie production car.  Built on a 1929 Chevrolet 1/2 ton chassis, a number of trim and body parts were used to create an antique New York City Police paddy wagon.  The headlights are from 1912-14 Cadillacs, and the fenders were sourced from a mid-20's Ford model T.  The enclosed wagon box was custom built from Canadian pine.  The old Chevrolet generator was replaced with a 12 volt alternator.  The stock fuel pump was replaced with a modern electric model.  The paddy wagon runs but is best suited for very short driving as a parade vehicle or a static display piece.  It is reported to have been used in production of several Hollywood films.  Youtube video availaboe upon request.  Call our classic car division at 815-385-8408 for video and/or vehicle information.
