One of Cadillac most popular model years was 1941, unveiling of the new “C” body with it's cavernous interior and torpedo style body was a big hit, selling upwards of 25,000 cars. The Series 62 featured a lower, sleeker body with chrome fenders trim with optional fender skirts. The grille was lower and had fewer crossbars. Total sales for the Series 62 was 5,900 for 1941.The Series 62 Convertible showcased here is a handsome example finished in authentic Rivermist Gray, topped bwith a black canvas cloth top trimmed with Burgundy piping. Paint and exterior chrome are in very good condition. Convertible top is in exceptional condition with no perforation or threadbare spots. Interior upholstery is in good condition, with wear most apparent on floor mats. Engine runs good, suspension and brakes exhibit reliable performance. This is a desirable year for Classic Cadillacs, with the convertibles being the most elusive of the bunch.
