1949 represented the first totally new automobile by Ford since the end of World War II. Chassis wishbone type with longitudinal rear springs replacing the earlier transverse springs. The "Shoe Box" body was slab sided slimming the rear fender buldge. This one being the custom series is a beautiful retro lasor straight body with a built engine with offy aluminum heads, 12 volt system, dual carbs, after market AC, and the alpine stereo sounds wonderful. Completely restored recently with mirror finish black paint and upgrade red and grey pleated interior. Skirts, visor and wide whitewalls set this beautiful Ford off.
